Are you an experienced and skilled Enrolled Nurse Advanced Practice looking for your next short-term contract?
This position will involve working across both Theatre (Scrub/Scout) and CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department), providing expert care and support within the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in theatre as a Scrub and/or Scout Nurse
- Providing sterilisation services in the CSSD
- Ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety
- Supporting the surgical team with efficient theatre management
- Maintaining infection control standards within the CSSD
- Managing sterile instruments and supplies

- Rates from $77.59 base rate per hour (depending on experience level), plus penal

What You Need
Essential:
- Certificate III in Sterilising
- Experience in Theatre Scrub and Scout nursing
- Strong knowledge of CSSD processes and infection control standards
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in a remote hospital setting (preferred but not essential)
- Strong commitment to professional development and patient care
Required documents
- Current AHPRA registration
- National Police Check
- Updated serology and immunisation evidence
- QLD CPD certificates (or willing to obtain)
