Nurse Unit Manager Needed in South West Victoria - Aged Care!
Commencement date: 10/03/2025 for 6-8 weeks
- Full time hours : 80 hours per fortnight
- Monday – Friday – No weekends
- Senior Registered Nurse with Aged Care experience , leadership and management
- 28 beds
The Position
- Clinical knowledge, skills and leadership experience in Residential Aged Care
- Demonstrated understanding of Aged Care Standards and Accreditation requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and strong financial management skills
- A level of nursing skills which is easily identified as a role model of clinical competence
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs, issues and sensitivities of people from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated team leadership ability and ability to support staff through internal and external change
- Ability to demonstrate an evidence-based approach to person centred care
- Demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development, including use and deployment of communication applications and technology

Essential Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Current NDIS screening
- Current evidence of immunisation history and / or serology results
